The Teamsters Local 1932 Retiree Committee brings together retired members who remain committed to strengthening the labor movement and supporting the next generation of workers. Even after retirement, our members continue to play an important role in building worker power across the Inland Empire.

Retiree Committee members support the union by volunteering during strikes, participating in organizing drives, engaging in political action, and helping mobilize members during key campaigns. With decades of experience and a deep understanding of the labor movement, our retirees serve as mentors, advocates, and ambassadors for Teamsters Local 1932.

Together, we honor the legacy of those who built our union while continuing the fight for fairness, dignity, and respect for working families.

Since the formation of the retiree committee at Teamsters Local 1932, our retirees have been steadfast at getting involved and activated in the Inland Empire!

Most recently, Teamsters Local 1932 retiree committee had a general meeting on July 16th at Vicky’s restaurant in San Bernardino. Their guest speaker, Eryn Young, gave an informative presentation on health and fitness.

 

The 1932 retiree committee also held a T-shirt contest, awarding a prize to the person who went to the oldest concert. The winner was Susan Loftus, who attended Woodstock as a youth in 1969.

At the next Teamsters Local 1932 general membership meeting, retirees will have a booth where they will educate upcoming retirees on what to expect.
