Local 1932 at High School Career Days

If your child attends high school, there is a possibility they might have visited our Training Center booth as various schools across the Inland Empire hosted career and/or hiring events.

We were present at various schools including Ontario High School which hosted a hiring event for hundreds of high school juniors and seniors within the Chaffey Joint Union High School District ready to enter the workforce.

We were also at Sierra High School, an innovative continuation school designed to teach their students about different career options they can pursue upon their graduation.

Our training center promotes a program called high school to high paying jobs, which is designed to connect students, especially those who may not feel college is the right path for them, to union jobs where they can count on a strong collective voice and better wages, benefits and working conditions.

The Teamsters Local 1932 Training Center trains and certifies students as office personnel and warehouse and distribution. Our four-week course program is cost-free and teaches the essential skills to thrive in either position.
