Teamsters Local 1932 Welcomes Former NLRB General Counsel, Jennifer Abruzzo to the Inland Empire

Teamsters Local 1932 proudly welcomed former National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) General Counsel Jennifer Abruzzo to our San Bernardino headquarters this week. Appointed by President Joe Biden, Abruzzo is widely recognized as one of the most pro-worker officials in modern labor history, leading efforts to strengthen federal protections for union organizing, collective bargaining, and prosecuting unfair labor practices against greedy corporations.

During her visit, Abruzzo met with our 1932 Executive Board, toured our state-of-the-art facility and Training Center, and discussed the future of the labor movement and the importance of enforcing workers’ rights in the Inland Empire and beyond.

“We were incredibly honored to host Jennifer Abruzzo at Teamsters Local 1932,” said Randy Korgan, Secretary-Treasurer of Teamsters Local 1932. “Her visit is a testament to the power and relevance of this union in one of the fastest-growing regions in the country. Teamsters Local 1932 continues to lead with bold action to empower workers, and it was inspiring to hear directly from someone who’s fought tirelessly for the same values at the national level.”

As the labor movement regains momentum across the country, Teamsters Local 1932 remains at the forefront, ensuring working families in the Inland Empire have a strong voice in their workplaces and their communities.
