U.S. Senator Kamala Harris is standing with San Bernardino Airport Communities!
Sen. Harris sent a letter to the Federal Aviation Administration on October 9th requesting a full Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the Eastgate project at SBD International Airport.
Why is it so important to get an expanded environmental review at Eastgate? The initial environmental review was extremely limited! With the proposed development set to drastically alter the quality of life for San Bernardino Airport Communities, due to the increased presence of flights and trucks, our community deserves better! We’re fighting for an EIS and a Community Benefits Agreement that guarantees good jobs and clean air at Eastgate.
