Teamsters Local 1932 — SB Airport Communities Press Conference (8/5/19)
A local coalition of residents and community organizations including Teamsters Local 1932 is organizing under the name “SB Airport Communities,” to fight for a community benefits agreement that guarantees good jobs for local residents and mitigation against air and noise pollution caused by the proposed Eastgate facility at SBD International Airport.
The Federal Aviation Administration is holding a public hearing on the evening of Thursday, August 8, 5:30 PM at the Norton Regional Events Center to hear comments from the public about this project. Residents in the area are showing up to demand — “No Eastgate without a Community Benefits Agreement”
