Needles Contract Ratified for Unclassified Employees

NEEDLES, CA — Members of the City of Needles Unclassified Unit, represented by Teamsters Local 1932, have overwhelmingly voted to ratify a new three-year contract that delivers significant cost-of-living wage increases and important improvements to contract language.

Under the new agreement, members will receive cost-of-living raises over the next three years, with the potential for an additional raise per year based on economic conditions. The contract also includes key language enhancements that will provide stronger protections and clearer workplace guidelines for members.

“This contract is the result of members staying united and engaged at the bargaining table,” said Randy Korgan, Secretary-Treasurer of Teamsters Local 1932. “Our members in Needles work hard every day to provide vital public services, and these improvements reflect the value they bring to their community.”

Teamsters Local 1932 continues to prioritize securing contracts that raise wages, protect benefits, and ensure fair treatment for all members across the Public Sector.
