City of Chino Teamsters Secure Strong Two-Year Contract
CHINO, CA – After building worker power and standing united at the bargaining table, City of Chino Teamsters have ratified a new two-year agreement with the city. The contract delivers significant wins for members, including large pay increases, the preservation of an excellent benefit bank, and the addition of a new grievance procedure that strengthens workplace protections and holds the City accountable.
“This contract shows what’s possible when working people stand together,” said Randy Korgan, Secretary-Treasurer of Teamsters Local 1932. “City of Chino Teamsters never wavered, and because of their unity and worker power, we’ve secured real improvements that will make a difference in their everyday lives and in the quality of services they provide to our community.”
Highlights of the new agreement include:
- Substantial Pay Increases: Members will see meaningful raises that reflect the value of their work and help them keep pace with the rising cost of living.
- Benefit Bank Maintained: The agreement protects the strong benefit bank that Chino Teamsters and their families rely on for healthcare and other essential needs.
- New Grievance Procedure: For the first time, members have a clear and enforceable process to address workplace concerns, ensuring fairness and accountability.
