Attend our Research Workshop to Help Transform the Inland Empire
In the last thirty years, billions of dollars have been siphoned from the local economy by multinational corporations and huge developers Many of our elected leaders have sat on their hands and let it happen. Or worse, they’ve helped these companies to advance their political careers. Most of the major employers in our communities don’t pay enough for people to live, which in turn means people can’t buy homes or spend money locally, eroding the tax base and leaving our communities stagnating in a constant cycle of underdevelopment.
Teamsters Local 1932 is partnering with several other community organizations and academic institutions to uncover some of the details that have been hidden from us over the past few decades and we want your help!

Please join us on Wednesday, April 5th, 5:30 PM at Union Hall for:

• A discussion regarding the union’s immediate research priorities
• An open discussion regarding other possible priority cities/areas the group might want to look into
• A training on how to engage with different public agencies and make public records requests to obtain the information we seek
