Teamsters at Big Bear Lake Ratify Strong New Contract

Big Bear Lake, CA — Teamsters Local 1932 members employed by the City of Big Bear Lake have overwhelmingly ratified a new collective bargaining agreement that delivers significant wage increases, stronger workplace protections, improved benefits and much more.

The agreement represents another major victory for Teamsters Local 1932 as the union continues to raise standards for public sector workers throughout the Inland Empire.

“This agreement is another example of what workers can accomplish when they stand together in solidarity,” said Randy Korgan, Secretary-Treasurer of Teamsters Local 1932. “Our members at Big Bear Lake fought for a contract that recognizes the value of the essential services they provide every day. From meaningful wage increases to stronger protections through grievance procedures and enhanced benefits, this contract reflects the respect these workers have earned. We congratulate our bargaining team and every member who stayed united throughout negotiations.”

“We secured the best possible contract for our membership. We achieved a fair cost-of-living adjustment over the life of the agreement, protected our benefits package, and won several smaller victories that will make a real difference for our members day to day,” said Ryan Masterpol, a Teamsters Local 1932 member employed by the City of Big Bear Lake.

Teamsters Local 1932 remains committed to securing contracts that reflect the hard work Teamsters do to provide quality public services.
